生活之道（英文：Way of Life，縮寫：WoL）是王國風雲2小型擴展包，在2014年12月16日[1]和2.3版本補丁共同發佈。
它允許玩家更直接地影響可能發生的事件的類型，而不是僅僅依靠個性特質或者隨機幾率。隨機生活方式事件鏈被手動生活焦點選擇替代，並加入了新的生活方式特質和事件鏈。
拓展包特性
所有伯爵及以上的角色都能擁有一種生活重心，一種「生活之道」。
通過指定生活重心，玩家：
- 可以獲得與對應屬性的即時修正
- 解鎖對應事件，外交活動和決議(例如，神學生活重心需要去朝聖並且成為一位
朝聖者) - 長期維持生活重心，最終會獲得一個生活方式特質（例如戰爭生活重心最終會得到
決鬥大師或
策略家）
生活之道有十個不同的生活重心：
當生活之道啟用時，提升屬性的雄心（如
提升外交）會消失；作為替代，相關事件由選定相關生活重心並且擁有少於8點的相關屬性點觸發。[2]
版本特性
Free patch 2.3 included some major modding features:
- 外交活動現可通過右鍵單擊你想要與之互動的人的人物肖像來互動；
- New scripted targeted decisions和外交活動顯示在相同位置。並且替換了封臣決議（私生子合法化、糾正腐化的家族成員等）
- Possibility to save event targets (character, province, title) in a temporary custom scope, only expiring with end of the current chain of events.
- Possibility to set several texts for any event, with triggers to select the appropriate one.
Trivia
- Uniquely, the patch accompanying the expansion went through an open beta, without the DLC content, as it was easy to separate that content from the rest[4].
